[A Date with Death 2]

Okay I found this game before the original ”A Date With Death,” and had an ear to ear grin the entire time playing it. This game is so adorkably endearing that I love it completely. There’s a lot of really clever jokes and quips that make it fun to play (for example, the title card cutting off as you read was such a nice touch). The gameplay is stressful but not too hard, and I was one hit away from dying both times I played. My only regret is that I can never play it for the first time again.

Also, Heli using they/them pronouns for Death and the hero using he/him pronouns for death makes it surprisingly great representation for LGBTQ relationships and he/they pronouns. Honestly, good job on that one.

Don’t stress yourself out by any means, but I am going to be looking forward to whatever “A Date With Death 3” brings to the table. I’m excited to learn why the goddess wanted The Hero to save humanity. Was she secretly setting Death up on a date? Was there a mistake and The Hero is the wrong person? Whatever story decisions you make, I’m looking forward to it.
